I would like to share a dream I have with you. My dream is to wipe out cancer. It has taken so many lives, including my mom's and my sister's. So much research is needed to find a cure. Early detection and treatment are doing a great deal to save lives but there are so many that cannot afford the tests or treatment.

Along with my sister, Jeanne, my niece Jeannetta, and my nephew's wife, Renee, we have committed ourselves to the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. We will raise money to help women detect and survive breast cancer. We can all help save lives.

The walk is August 2-4 2002. We will walk 60 miles from Boulder to Denver, Colorado, along with 3000 other committed people working to change the world.

We have each pledged to raise $2000.
